Thoughts?

Personally, I expected our average weight to be down a bit this year after seeing the guys and hearing Dak talk about all the extra running and conditioning, etc...But it is actually up almost a lb.

Just for fun, I did it back through all of our rosters that are simple excel inputs...
2014- 236.3714
2013 - 235.463
2012 - 234.5728
2011 - 233.75
2010 - 234.952
2009 - 232.6804
2008 - 228.422
2007 - 230.2621
2006 - 230.08

Avg across college football(last year): 228.09 lbs(in the SEC 231.07)

Top 4 last year were:
1) Stanford - 238.3
2) Ohio St - 236.56
3) Alabama - 236.48
4) us - 235.63

Are we well on our way to becoming the heaviest team in all of college football?

The heaviest team in college football SHOULD be in the heaviest state in the country!

We're going to bring the pain. Win or lose, teams WILL be feeling it the week after they play us. I also find it interesting that the 3 teams who are heavier than us are also all elite teams that should win 10+ most years. Dunno if there's a correlation there, but it is interesting.

So we are the tallest and almost the heaviest, great! Now, we need to know who is the fastest team.

More than anything, I'm amazed at how close that average has been over the past 9 years. I mean within a couple of pounds almost every time. That seems so crazy to me. I guess it makes sense, but it just feels odd that it's stayed pretty much the same plus/minus a few pounds

We are also taller so 1 lb. is no big deal. Did you add/divide all the weights of each team or just found a link?
