Anybody know what he plans to do?

I really thought he would at least get a camp invite if he showed anything at all in workouts but that invite didn't come unless I completely missed it.

He has said that he is working out and healing his injuries to 100 percent before he tries to make the NFL. According to what I've read, he is planning to try to get a FA deal next season. A lot of people on this board say that it's ridiculous to wait a year. Maybe. I'm taking what he says at face value. Here's a link to his facebook page. I don't think it's his only FB page. https://www.facebook.com/tyler17russell

Seems like a risk, but I'm sure it would be better to show up 100% than not. Probably a long shot either way, but I wish Tyler well and hope he gets on somewhere in the league.

yal ain't gonna like me saying this but I am just not sure Tyler is an NFL qb but he would be an outstanding CFL qb.

Maybe he can throw to Ochocinco with the Montreal Allouettes.

I think you're on to something there, as all the CFL offenses I've seen seem to be some variation of an air raid. I've always thought he'd do really well in any kind of quick, short passing offense.

I think he's got good raw material and a great football mind. We'll see what happens.
