Just watched him give up 3 in the 9th against the Giants. How much longer does he have? He is topping out at 91 now.

He can pitch as a reliever for a while. I don't see him closing too much longer though

Before the Giants came to town Papelbon had a 1.17 ERA and 23 saves

1.3 ERA and on pace for 40 saves isn't good anymore?

Didn't realize. Honestly haven't been following. Losing the speed might cost him and possibly be a set up man before too much longer.

Papelbon will get traded this year most likely. He's already publicly stated he wants out of Philly. Hope the Giants add him.

Sounds solid to me.

Second one in a row for Paps. Posey took him deep in the 9th last night to tie it up. Hate it for him, but love my Giants more.

He can still help someone for sure. Has bounced back from awful year.
