Gene reported that Geyer is transferring to a JUCO in Florida. I know he was having a statistically rough summer playing for Chal Fanning.

Yep. If the baseball whisperer can't help you...yikes.

He also said that Jacob Billingsley had some type of an arm injury- and that's bad news because Cohen expected him to take over as our closer.

Shit... Hopefully it isn't too bad, but we know how this stuff usually goes. We've had more than our fair share of bad luck with arm injuries recently.

Really hope it's not anything bad, was hoping Jacob played a huge role for us this coming season.

Myles Gentry also with arm issues. I took my son to pitching camp a few days ago and he was helping out. He was throwing left. He had a long sleeve shirt on too (in this heat). I didn't ask him either btw. Let's all hope it is just soreness for both of them.
