This is another challenge because it's hard to please everyone... You have to find something that energizes the most number of people. With that being said, the song I chose would DEFINITELY energize the team (which is the most important), students (who would actually be there because it's the beginning of the game), and some random recent grads and others. I realize this may be totally out of context for an intro, but after all no one likes being sober at a game

I tend to agree.... I'm not a huge fan of for whom the bell tolls. Yeah, sure.... The name is relevant.... I just don't things the song gets people excited.

I think the song might have to be a mash up of more than just one song, it's very difficult to think of a song not already being used, what about some mashup up the Batman Begins song to play of the Dak Knight idea and then add in the Blade song or something else after the Dak song to really get everybody going nuts. South Carolina plays two songs, Space Odyssedy for when the team runs out then show some highlights and the Sandstorm for right before kickoff. It is electric in Colombia on a game day.

I recommend "Born This Way" by Thousand Foot Krutch. Listen to it all the way through, it's got several different sections that would work. It's also a brand new song, so nobody else has already used it. Bonus points: they are even a Christian rock band, so maybe that will ease the old people who won't like it. The best part for stadium use might be the section that starts at 2:33.

To me this would be the song with video before the song for the crowd comes in.

The song starts off dramatic. During the parts with vocals, we're just showing video, but during the soft parts is when we would have sound, like Jack Cristil, or Mullen talking, etc. Like the Mullen line "We're going to play harder, faster, and tougher than we ever have before... EVER HAVE BEFORE"... or whatever he says.
