Ben Bracewell:
Rookie starting pitcher Ben Bracewell has also been sold to the Oakland Athletics. Through four starts this season, Bracewell has accrued a 1-0 record with a 7.56 ERA. The right-hander out of Mississippi State University was shocked that he didn?t get drafted in the June MLB Draft, but was happy to join River City and continue his baseball career.
Bracewell becomes the sixth Rascal to sign with a Major League Organization this season, and the entire River City organization hope to see him succeed alongside teammate Josh Ludy.
