I agree it's funny. I've lived in the Hattiesburg area for two years and I haven't met any Southern fans that even understand football. One fan told me they really don't understand why kids from the Hattiesburg area choose State and Ole Miss over Southern.

Really wish this game was in Hattiesburg, so we could get that over with while they still suck. They may be competitive by next year. Either way, we have plenty to play for against these guys, and I hope the coaches/players realize this. We need to conquer their 'territory' while we have an open door. They should feel good because Alabama has lost two back to back. Yesterday when we were leaving the extravaganza in Jackson there were some USM fans outside the trade center and my son roll down the window let them have it with the cowbell. It was pretty funny watching their faces. I did not know what he was doing. I thought he was just rolling down the window because that's what little kids do.
