Did Yancy assemble the ALL-SEC list?

Look no further than Denzel Kimdeechy at 2nd team LB. I tried to find out where Denzel ranked in tackles last year. He wasn't in the SEC's top 50. He's not even a starter on his own team.

Again, other than being sued for 7 figures, what has he accomplished? He had a good freshman year and a disappointing sophomore year.

What am I missing here?

If that guy's last name wasn't Nkemdiche, he wouldn't have sniffed an All-SEC team last year or this year. He was very good as a freshman (thanks in large part to the system UM runs on defense), so he deserved it then.

Since 2012 ended though- Denzel has been nothing more than an average LB with off the field issues. The fact that he's even mentioned in the conversation for second team All-SEC is laughable.

I don't know that there is a linebacker on our roster that I wouldn't take over Denzel.

Come on guys, at 5'11" 205lbs, he's a monster LB. There is no way a lineman can block him out********************************

Remember, the SEC gave him 1st Team All SEC last year.... so I guess he's digressing in the media's eyes a little.

Bad thing is that they are probably basing his selection on his Freshman year and his name. When you're not in the Top 50 of the SEC the previous year, there's no reason for you to be in the All-SEC selection.

media all sec team means nothing. The coaches all sec team is the one that tells you the most.
