I think it was cheesy, but I like the direction and message behind it. Currently the number one detractor for showing up to the game is the quality of TVs and broadcasts that exist these days. Strick was just taking a shot at our REAL rival.

Poor commercial. Not often that a TV broadcast is screwed up.

They should have highlighted the differences between a home TV atmosphere and a game day atmosphere where fans are inundated with commercials, I mean where cowbells are rung and there is excitement in the air.

Agreed. The main thrust of the commercial was the social aspect of game day and it did a great job showing that. The guy wasn't the best actor but I guess Matthew McConaughey fell through.

Youtube inserts commercials like websites insert ads. Ads pay for things like free websites and free youtube.

it's good to see that the university has declared battle against our living rooms. The message actually detracts from the point that game day is exciting and fun.. and it reminds me that I have an option to be lazy and cheap and still watch every game.
