Maloney is at first and they mentioned Palmeiro.

Palmeiro was the last Cuban born player to start an All-Star Game. Then Harold Reynolds when making a point about Cuban baseball said- "well, he played at Mississippi State so he had a little bit of an easier adjustment..."

I'm spinning it this way- "MSU/SEC baseball > Serie Nacional".
