I've always thought that 50% of the dandy dozen in any sport were a joke. Seemed like factors other than on field ability and talent took more of a front seat in the ranking of the players. Not saying that is the case this year but in the past that is a trend I noticed.

That being said does anyone think the fact that he is a bama commit added to his #1 ranking? Granted I have no knowledge of him as a player only that we were recruiting him heavily at one time.

No, I think he is the #1 ranked LB in the country and therefore is deserving of the #1 Dandy Dozen list

pretty sure he got that ranking before he committed.


ETA: he was ranked on February 18th. he committed April 19th

Saying you're "85% committed" and being 18 years old means he's probably thinking about changing his mind before its all over. This situation has a "he's gonna end up at Ole Miss" feel to it for me, at least

He's came out and said we are his #2. Plus, we have a lot of people in his ear. Of he flips, it's us

I've commented on this a couple of times. I'd don't have sources and I'm not a "guru". I do know someone very close to Leo. I can say that he is still hanging out with JJ and my guy is "pretty certain" LL sticks with Bama.
