I believe you can miss an entire game. If my instincts are right if you come in defensively and have one plate appearance it will count into the streak.

I thought it was either Plate Appearance or Official At Bat, but could be wrong.

It's an official at-bat, if you sit out a game or don't have an official at-bat then the streak is still alive. You could play the whole game and get walked, sac fly, sac bunt, HBP without recording an at-bat and still have the streak.

That's just not true on any account. You can't penalize a guy for getting walked four times.

This is correct. Frazier has a current 5 game streak. Renfroe has the longest at 15. Pirtles current 27 game on base streak tops all! That's incredible out of Brett. And makes me think he should hit in front of Hunter getting on base like that.

Me too. Of course I find the idea of a hit streak suspect too. If I get one hit ten games in a row I could be at .250 but if I get 2 hits in 9 out of 10 games I'll be near .500.

I think it's funny how this time you were clearly wrong in black and white. Normally you are wrong in gray areas that are difficult to prove. With all of your statistics you throw out one would think that you would be able to type in a quick Google search and find out the correct answer before posting.
