I'm surprised C34 isn't winning this one. Considering his football posts, BearShark trolling, Ray defense, and soccer trolling it's been a helluva year for one of the most infamous posters in the history of MSU message boards.

But Cadaver has been on fire, too. He was probably my second choice.

Considering this board probably wouldn't be here, and certainly wouldn't be as big without C34, there is no question he is the MVP of the first year.

FWIW preacher, I just figure if someone can manage to get himself nominated for so many awards, some of which are inherently contradictory, that has to mean something. You've clearly had a big presence, if nothing else.

Not going to lie, I wasn't expecting to even be in the running for an award....in fact, I didn't even think I was going to be eligible as a mod until the day of nominations when Coach changed that rule. That being said, I am honored to receive some votes in this and best mod, but let's be honest, I'm not the MVP I just post a lot. Ha. The board wouldn't be here without Coach, so I voted for him, and I encourage you all to do the same. Looks like Ref will get his soon too since he is in every poll just about. Choose one of those guys that deserve it. Thanks gentlemen.

And I guess this is as good a thread as any to say that I appreciate all of your participation in the awards this week. I really have fun doing stuff like this, and I want this board to be great. I figure if we're all going to hang out here, why not make it as fun and interactive as possible. So thanks again for playing along, and thanks to Coach and the Mod Squad for letting me and BeastMan put this thing together. We had fun, and we hope it was fun for all of you as well.

I agree about C34, which is why I voted for him right off. For me it wasn't just about being a good poster. My vote was really more about: up until this point on my Bulldog message board days, C34 is the MVP. Is he currently the absolute best poster on here? I don't know. But I do know he has done a whole lot for the MSU message boards in general. He was the reason I even gave this board a shot to begin with, and now it's pretty much my only board.

C34 deserves this award.
