This is a RHP pitcher from Georgia that is 5'11" 180 and throws 88, but he has a really good offer list. Clemson, Georgia, and Alabama. He was committed to Kent State, which is where Georgia's coach Scott Stricklin is now. I'm not sure if he was committed to Kent State and then de-committed when Stricklin left or what the deal was with that. He is from Kennesaw HS in Georgia and while there is no W/L record for him, he had an ERA of 0.81 last year and 93 K's and 17 BB's in 60.1 IP.
And as I talked about before, I said that we would take another pitcher or two if we could find one just because you never can have enough. I know he has visited us. That said, I suspect because of his Kent State ties and the fact that he lives with Georgia, I would have to believe based on that that Gilliam is likely leaning to Georgia.
