I know we have done something similar here many times in the past. But I believe the more educated fans frequent here and SPS. So, Y'all that do the twitter need to vote on this. So, the top 10 isn't a list of every Egg Bowl won at Scott Field. THere were some much bigger games over the years.

A few that I recall but was to young to really give a good account, 81 Miami, 82 LSU and 84 LSU. I believe LSU was set up to win the SEC both of those years until they lost to us.....i think.

I do recall well the 92 Florida game. Great atmosphere, fun game and we whipped them. 94 last minute win vs UT. 96 Alabama win. 98 vs Arkansas. 2000 UF, Auburn and Alabama games. LT and King Jackie had a moment over the video board post 2000 Bama game. The 99 and 13 Egg Bowl were definitely memorable finishes and probably top 10. Maybe Bama 2007 and UF 2004. However, Egg Bowls outside 99 & 13.......while sweet, don't make the Top 10 IMO because most of the games were not huge upsets.

Egg Bowl '07 and '09 has got to be in the discussion, right?

14 point comeback in the 4th quarter (I hope I remembered that right) and beating the best OM team in several years...

09 maybe because they were good. It was an upset. It became a fun game to watch as we ran away in the end. 07, sorry, but that was two bad teams. It took a terrible decision by a bad coach to put the ball in our only play makers hands...top 20 maybe.

My list:

1991 Texas
1992 Florida
1994 Tennessee
1996 Alabama
1998 Arkansas
1999 Ole Miss
2000 Florida
2007 Alabama
2007 Ole Miss
2009 Ole Miss

The two 2007 games are sort of outliers. Both of those games were over subpar teams, but the situations made them memorable. We were so accustomed to losing that winning that Bama game was just nuts. Then the comeback over Ole Miss.

Was it the 96 Alabama game where it was freezing cold and about a 30mph wind and they tried to have some people parachute in as part of the pre-game? I never knew a human being could bounce like that until I saw that one lose all the air out of his chute and drop like a rock the last 30 feet.

I really enjoyed that game because my ride to the game that night was a bunch of Alabama fans and all I heard before the game was how this was not going to be any sort of contest. After all, they were Alabama. I've never seen a bama fan that mad in my life as one guy was in our group. I quickly realized that if I didn't want to walk home I best keep my mouth shut until I was almost home.

They were Alabama, and like 8-1. We were like 3-5. Taite was being booed, and Jackie was on the hot seat. Keffer was out for the season. No reason they shouldn't have murdered us.

If we would have won the 2010 arkansas game that would definitely be on the list. One of if not the best atmospheres that I can remember. Same for the 2009 florida game.

Yep. That was the game. Dude was doing all he could to get that chute turned and land on the field. When he turned back south, that wind crumpled the chute and he fell like a rock. At least that is how I remember it.

My Bama fan story from that game....I was walking towards the stadium through some RVs. Excited Bama fans file out of a RV high fiving, all excited....."Georgia beat Auburn! We are going to the SEC Championship." The guy says this to me. As if I am suppose to give him a high five. Instead, I say "You have to beat us first." You would have thought I told that guy the funniest joke known to man. I would have given anything to see that guy after the game.

That game was so unlikely. After the heavy weight battles of 92 and 94 where we almost beat them with much better teams.......i didn't belive what I had said no more than the Bama fan. But Taite hit a few passes. Bama's DL couldn't find little Robert Issac. Our defense played their tails off. Awesome night in what ended up being the turning point for MSU football for a few years.

Little Rock radio talked about the stadium atmosphere for weeks after that game. We impressed them too. WHich you have to spent time in LR to understand how big it is for them to notice anything other than the Razorbacks.

it's on my list regardless. possibly the best game ever at DWS, even though it was a loss. Haven't been much prouder of the team than I was that day.
