IT's TIME!

Below is the first annual EliteDawg Awards list. Nominate as many posters for each award as you'd like, and those nominations will be narrowed down to a vote held next week to determine the Award winners. (I left blanks under each award below so you can copy, paste, and fill in under each award if desired). These awards may be changed in the future, or have some added or deleted...but hopefully there are enough to make it fun and interesting. BeastMan and I really enjoyed putting it together.

Winners of Awards will have that Award listed below their username for the following year until they regain their Award or it is stolen from them next year!

Rules:

* May nominate multiple posters for each award
* Feel free to explain nominations, but keep discussion to a minimum in this thread so we can tally the nominations easier
* Moderators can be nominated, but are ineligible to win awards
* No whining. This is supposed to be fun, so if you're nominated for an award you don't like...deal with it, and grow some thicker skin.
* Leave your emotions at the door and put some thought into these. Will James can't win EVERY negative award, for instance.*
* Have fun and participate

i cant win the Hotty Totty award because part of me becoming an Online Legend was built on my OM hate. Not fair to regular posters.
BeastMan should be exempt from the recruiting award- he writes a blog on recruiting.
And Goat would be ineligible for the multiple personalities award

I was thinking we just keep it "as is" for now. And if we decide to add more Awards next year we can. Or rename the Awards we currently have. But if a really good award comes up before the weekend, we can add it if you guys want to. I considered a Rookie of the Year, but technically we are all Rookies on this board since these awards are based on the first year of existence...so I decided to hold off until next year. But if everyone wants to do it now, we can add it.

I would vote to allow Mods to win awards- but for some we just can't. For example:

i cant win the Hotty Totty award because part of me becoming an Online Legend was built on my OM hate. Not fair to regular posters.
BeastMan should be exempt from the recruiting award- he writes a blog on recruiting.
And Goat would be ineligible for the multiple personalities award

Alright guys, the nominations have been gathered, and we are preparing the lists so we can put each award to a vote beginning next week. Thanks for all of the participation....looking at the list of nominees, this should be fun(ny). So many of you guys are up for an award, it should be great.
