The Cardinals are said to be looking at trading for Seth Smith. Would be a good edition- I think Smith is the best pinch hitter in baseball.

I don't know if it's necessary though.

I'd like to add either an ace like a David Price or a big time power guy.

Seth would be a big PR hit around MS in St. Louis. His dad is in poor health, so I could definitely see he/Lindsey trying to get back closer to home if possible. He's already got a good many distractions in SD -- I can't imagine how much of "the people that he barely knew" that he'd have to deal with 6 hours from MS...

Probably about the same as everyone else- but it would be expensive. They're going to want at least 3 elite prospects probably- think Taveras, Carlos Martinez, and then someone else like maybe a Shelby Miller.
