I'm a little worried about it. Germany has nothing to lose unless we blow them out, essentially. I'm afraid that, coupled with us potentially having a "play not to lose" attitude, could lead to disaster.

We should advance. The odds are ever in our favor. But I won't rest easy until it's done.

SO...... It's not against the rules of soccer to tie or not play hard. This is how it works. Ghana and Portugal should have beaten us. Not our problem

I think people are wrong about Ghana beating Portugal. I expect Portugal to beat Ghana 2-1 or 3-2, and us to tie or lose by a goal or 2 to Germany, and us advancing due to Portugal needing to make up a 5 goal differential

Cadaver, that very well may happen, but I think it's highly unlikely. Ghana have easily been the better team than Portugal through the first two games, and they're not dealing with injuries that Portugal are dealing with. This worries me tomorrow. I hope you're right though - sure would ease some tensions if I saw Portugal up 1-0 at halftime tomorrow.

I think we lose by one, and I think Ghana and Portugal tie 2-2. I think we finally see Ronaldo net two goals, but Gyan and Ayew continue the scoring for Ghana. We give up a goal in the 80th minute and lose 1-0.
