Black Jacks

Mullets

Schooners

Shrimpers

Shuckers




Those are the six choices.

I don't live on the coast, so I don't have a dog in the hunt. But I'm digging Shrimpers or Shuckers. Beacon would be my 3rd choice. Just say no to Black Jacks, Schooners, or Mullets.

I don't live there either, but I do like Shuckers as well. I also like black jacks, not because it's a cool mascot, but I think it would lead to some really cool promos and merch

Black Jack, without the S. It would promote travel to Biloxi for gaming when they go to other venues.

Shuckers is also cool, but it does nothing for Biloxi tourism when the team travels. Please not Mullets. I'd take "Reds" over Mullets with a Red Fish as the mascot.

Won't be mullets. Somebody will shut that down because most people will associate it with the haircut, not the fish. I don't think it will be shrimpers. Lots of biloxians (?) are sensitive about being called shrimpers.

I'm guessing it will end up being the Biloxi Black Jack or the Biloxi Schooners. It's going to be in the team's best interest that they help advertise something for Biloxi's tourism industry. The casino connection is obvious and the schooner choice at least helps identify it as a boating destination. I am guessing the fix will be in for the Black Jack since the Beau already donated the land for the stadium.

I agree, if it was going to be a mullet themed name, they should have gone with Biloxi Bacon (smoked mullet for all you non-coast rats) - I doubt Biloxi Mullets wins the vote. I think it'll end up being the Biloxi Schooners, personally, but I like Black Jacks, Shuckers, and Schooners in that order.
