I don't think he should have been ejected but absolutely no need to lay the 3rd baseman out a step or two from the bag with his teammate already standing on third. He knew he was out regardless.

If definitely was a punk move- but I can't see an umpire worth his salt kicking him out of a championship series over that. You have to allow for a little bit of emotion in a championship situation IMO.

If Papi gets any pitch away from the hands tonight, I would be surprised. I bet there's a high probability that he reaches base via a 95 mph heater in the high back during his first at-bat.

I'm sure he would be fine with that too. He'll score shortly thereafter. Vandy baseball fans and basketball fans suck. Their football fans don't suck because the team does the sucking for them.
