This sounds a lot like the Marlon Humphrey/Alabama recruitment last year where in this case we are the Alabama. Humphrey said blah blah blah and waited until the last possible minute to commit to Alabama but look where he ended up, Alabama. I think we will be fine.

I sure hope we land him but we do have a pretty terrible history of signing the highly touted little brothers of our current football players. Just look at how awesome we did with Andre Wadley, Josh McNeil, and Alonzo Lawrence. All 4-star guys with brothers that were on the team at the time they were being recruited, and we went 0-fer. Granted, that was under a different regime and 2 of the 3 were busts for various reasons, but the point remains.

Bottom line, we are a LOT more attractive program now than we were back in the day when those guys were being recruited. No, I'm not guaranteeing we get Fletcher, but when it comes down to decision time it will be difficult for him to decide to play AGAINST his own brother.

I hope he doesn't fall into Bama's spotlight. He would be a star at State.... He wouldn't hit the field at Bama until his sophomore year and that would only be for clean up duty. These kids don't understand this until it's too late though.
