Just posted on his Instagram that he's having surgery in Nashville. Anyone know what he's having done?

having to have it one in Nashville is a little disconcerting ... sounds like specialist work

Didn't Dak have a specialist from Nashville help with his stinger last year? Wonder if it the same guy

Wouldn't be at all surprised.

Bear is having hip surgery. Any guesses on what it could be? I was hoping for a lesser issue because hips can be a little problematic. Anyone got any experience here?

Shotgun, Dak saw a physical therapist in Starkville. Said his performance in the Egg Bowl was borderline miraculous from where he was just days prior. He may have seen seen someone in Nashville early on, however it was a local hero that got him ready for game day.

Jesus?

That's just crazy. No that witch doctor from Ghana that made Ronaldo hurt was seeing Toby Keith live in Nashville

I doubt Hugh Freeze had anything to do with it.

Does anyone have any idea on the recovery time on this injury?

Luckily we have some serious depth at WR this year - but I think Bear has such great potential I don't want it to be slowed down.

Hancock, we don't know the time frame for recovery because we don't know the injury. We know it is his hip, but there could be 100 different issues with a hip. Anything from a full hip replacement to cleaning out some scar tissue. We just don't know.

A full hip replacement? That is just silly. His career would be over.

Im assuming it is something minor, because something involving him and a serious injury would have already leaked.

Good that we open up with patsies in case he has to miss some of the early season. We really need him back for LSU though.

Was just an example to explain the range of hip problems. I was in no way saying that Bear was having full hip replacement. Please practice reading comprehension

Nobody said it was a full hip replacement. It COULD BE ANYTHING from that to a freakin boil. We have no idea.

He was digging around for food in the dumpster at Strange Brew when I ran across him.

Bear gets a surgery the same week the black bears get a stud WR transfer. 17.

I don't see that guy staying out of trouble with a year of idle time.

I'm just sayin. 17.

He probably had a hip arthroscopy to clean out some impingement. Basically like a knee scope. He will be ready to roll come practice time.
