Shame that Ramirez had to ruin the PG chance.

Kershaw is simply the best in the game and has a chance it be be an all time great. That was a dominant performance.

So far this year he's striking out over 12 hitters per 9 and walking less than 2. That's combining Randy Johnson and Greg Maddux.

He's on pace to be your once in a generation arm.

Tanaka has had a better year than Kershaw. He's younger than him too. Congratulations to Kershaw for throwing a great game but he hasn't been the best pitcher in baseball this year. Both Cueto and Tanaka are ahead for this year only. You WJ should know this since you love Brian Kenny so much and Kenny has consistently rated Cueto #1 and Tanaka #2 all year long. Kershaw was on the DL so it's hurting him for this ranking. We'll see where they end up. One thing is for sure and that's that Kershaw was absolutely filthy tonight. Unhittable filthy. He also was absolutely horrible vs the Diamondbacks early in the year and Cueto got ripped bad once too. Tanaka has been dominant every start. 100% consistency beats Kershaw here. In the last two years Tanaka is 35-1. The Yankees are 12-2 when he pitches and 4 games under .500 when he doesn't.
