According to the roster Elijah Staley is 6' 6", Nick Fitzgerald is 6' 5", Josiah Phillips is 6' 4", Dak and Nathan Gieb are 6' 2" and Damian Williams is 6' 1". Looks fairly legit to me. I'm sure none of them are exactly 6' 6" and so forth. Definitely some rounding in there, but the numbers are not far off in my guess.

Pics can be tricky sometimes... First, they're standing in a half circle shape, so the guys on the edges will always appear a smidge taller... Also, you don't know how tall the person taking the picture is. At the right angle, and with them standing in that half circle shape, you could make them appear the same height.

I'm just saying that, according to the stated heights on the roster, they seem to be relatively accurate. But I'm curious of Daks workout regime. Obvious he's a beast and goes above and beyond what our normal guys do in the weight room. He has wonderful definition in the oblique area and throughout his entire torso for that matter, especially for a 230lb man. Solid core and stout chest as well. (Same could be said for the other 5 gentlemen though.)

But where Dak sets himself apart is bellow the belt. Those thighs are like tree trunks and I've seen him out in about in those tight shorts (at practice) and his quads are ripped and defined too. I wouldn't be surprised if he gets on the oliptical machine for about a hour post workout. And speaking of those shorts, someones got to mention this, is it me or is he just displaying his alpha male status? Your average joe couldn't proudly stand there and be completely exposed and not care who sees - but not Dak. That's the type of leadership and swagger that will take us back to ATL this year IMO.

Several people had said that Dak is a workout warrior. He's a leader in every way and that includes the weight room. I'm not sure why people are surprised or amazed at the results.

I know players that had nightmares about missing a Balis workout because of the punishment that ensued. They would come in after a workout on the verge of tears because of how intense the Balis workouts were. Balis was no puss

I have spoken personally to players who have said that Balis was more intense but Court's workouts are actually tougher, especially the speed and agility workouts. Said that the weight regimen has not changed much from balis but it tends to be a little more focused and organized now. They all agreed that Balis was great strength coach but was lacking in speed, conditioning, and overall well being of the body. I personally believe that the injury problem we have had the last two years was laid at Balis feet. I know for a fact it was an area of contention between Mullen and Balis.

Every school in the country has the "best" strength coach. Fact is, the majority utilize the same workout. It is up to the player to eat right and push themselves for the gains.

Dak's tree trunks tell me that he is going ass to calf twice a week at prob 405. Those legs are just sick. Some CB will lean in to tackle him and just get trucked. I remember ricky williams knocking out our entire secondary by doing this. They didnt even want to come back in the game.
