Good news for the MS shrimpers who are getting a late start due to the harsh winter we just had. I'm all for cheap shrimp off the dock. Perhaps my favorite thing about shrimp season opening up is that means there are a lot of shrimp in the water which means some of my favorite fish will become more prevalent of the MS coast. It's about time

My mom's neighbors are shrimpers and offer them free shrimp all the time... my dad doesn't eat shellfish, and lives on the MSGC. I get so upset when I hear they turn it down. They just need to ship that crap to me.

Bought shrimp today for $5 a pound in FL today. Said they were having to go to AL and MS for shrimp because of all the water from the rain recently. I need to learn more about the fishing down there.
