Take this for what it's worth, but my nephew has been working in Starkville the last couple of months and doesn't see any way it can all be done by kickoff.

I would put a good bit of money down on it being finished by kickoff.

I bet the contractors already did.

I hope like hell he's wrong. Don't shoot the messenger in this instance. The seating is all in place. It's the boxes that he doesn't think will be done. He was welding some kind of frame on the front of them to hang the big panes of glass in. He works for Gullys or Slays here in Meridian. He's working up there today, I think.

If you're a bulldog fan and this doesn't excite you, there's no help for you. It looks Awesome! And it is going to be really loud when 60,000 cowbells are clanging in there

What is the big column in the bottom center of the construction cam for?

Second that...

And yes, it will likely be done... As stated already, I'm sure there are huge dollars hanging over the contractors heads for not finishing on time. Come hell or high water, they'll be working their butts off.

I know it's been said before, but I love how they designed it to look like a big-time, bowled in endzone while also not putting in too many seats.

It gives the stadium a whole different feel without overbuilding and ending up with a bunch of empty seats. Very good foresight. For reference, check out Stanford's stadium after it was rebuilt- you'd take one look at it and think it's capacity was 80K-90K, but it's actually only about 50K.

Dws stadium has a way different feel to it now with the end closed than before. I was there last week. Going to be awesome when filled

Are any lockerooms going to be placed inside the new renovation?

visitors will be in there. Are students in the lower levels? I could see that being a problem.

Students have the whole lower section....and I don't see a problem with that. We won't be the only school with the visiting team running out from under the student section.

I don't have a problem with it but I could see problems occurring.

Drunk students+Ole Miss (or insert any other team) players walking underneath them = could be problems.

Of course it will only be a problem until half time ****

Damn, I love it! We won't have one of the biggest stadiums, but it will be one of the nicest looking.

This picture is gonna look great with all the seats filled up and the new jumbotron showing Dak truck an Auburn linebacker on the 1 yard line for a TD.

I'm curious to see how that awkward bit of seats just below the new jumbotron is going to look when the stadium is full.

Just for reference, the top of the supports for the new jumbotron are equal with the 4th level of lights on the East side.
