Anyone know of him? LHP from lucedale. Seems to be pretty good. Like top 15 in state.

Yes. We're recruiting him.

Here's an article for you.

Also, I think East Central is the best high school baseball program in Mississippi that no one talks about.

You never can have enough pitching. Especially LH pitching.

Yes, I would say he is high on the list. He is definately a Dandy Dozen. We need him bad.

The next big date in baseball recruiting is in July. I can't remember the exact date- it's either July 1 or July 6th, but those are the first days that colleges can officially offer players. The ones that are committed now will be officially offered, but we'll start to see some recruiting news pick up in July and August.

So, we'll keep an eye on Pilkington and Gene Wood among others and see if they officially visit or not.

It is July 1. Polk used to send offers via express mail, go there early on the 1st. Pilkington is a must have. Top lefty for 2015, far as I know.

Wait. He didn't e-mail them?**

I'd like to add Pilkington to Jared Padgett and Kale Breaux. That's just loaded with LH pitching for this class. And then Noah Hughes, Keegan James, and Austin Riley from the right side. That's the kind of pitching staff we need to compete for championships.

Also, I wouldn't be surprised if we redshirt Andrew Mahoney next year. He will be recovering from Tommy John surgery, but prior to that he was hitting 94 on the gun. Jake Mangum might be able to pitch for us some as well.

Then we need to get are two corner infield/outfield guys and either a guy that can catch or play second. Hunter Stovall can either catch or play second base. But as of now, I think he catches.
