Slive threaten the NCAA?

saw a headline a few days ago but didn't read it. anyone got the scoop?

Basically if the NCAA Executive Committee doesn't approve autonomy to the Big-5 conferences, then Slive said the SEC will form it's own Division of the NCAA and create our own rules and benefits, then bring in the rest of the Big-5 to jump in.

That is getting heavy handed. the ncaa has taken a lot of power not necessarily given to them. Just like the EPA and the government.
