Only 1 team that made it to Omaha last year has advanced to the Super Regionals. (Louisville) Oregon State is down 3-1 with 6 more outs to work with. Kinda brings into perspective how difficult it is to make it to Omaha.

They have experienced hitters at the top and middle, a couple with pop. They have 2 good starters and a couple decent arms in pen. Experience up the middle. Come on ULL do your fn job.

Assuming no one else has already done it (sorry if someone has and I missed it), I'll go ahead and put a dotted line around my neck and predict that ULL will take at least 2 of 3 from OM and make it to Omaha. Those boys have the fire in their bellies and play like they mean it!

Hopefully ULL didn't blow their top with us. But if OM is to make it to Omaha, I'd like to think that big field doesn't play to their advantage.

If UM can somehow get by ULL.....

This is thing is wide open form them,
UM would have as good a shot as anyone
in Omaha.

Im pretty sure that the ULL/om super is paired with Virginia. Even if they get past ULL, they won't beat UVA.

what happened with NC State? I don't remember seeing them mentioned in a regional. And they have a couple of players in the top 10 I think (Rodon and a SS maybe).

They didn't make it. 13-17 ACC and 32-23 overall. Didn't expect that from them.

I'm picking UVA to win the CWS.

I picked them to win in 2014 right after we won the Super Regional up there last year. Heck, if they'd gotten past us last year they woulda won it all.

I think this is the year for the surprise "little" guy winner like Fresno St. did a few years ago. My sleeper pick is UC Irvine but they have a very difficult SR at Ok State. This will be a very interesting weekend. Pepperdine, Charleston, Houston, Kennesaw St., Texas Tech, UC Irvine, ULL, Maryland are all not exactly regulars at this point.
