Just curious if anyone knows why we would schedule a midweek game...

in a week where the SEC series start on Thursday? I see OM is playing a game tonight as well. Just seems a bit odd since we've had other weeks where there were no midweek games at all and the SEC series didn't start until Friday.

To let your pitchers that havent gotten to pitch much get some work before the SEC Tourney-where in theory- they will be needed

At least we're at home..bears travel to Hattiesburg. THAT is bad scheduling.

..last year next to the last series of the season we played @ UF, went 1-2 in the series, then came home & played a mid-week game vs. Central Arkansas.

Of course, we lost to Central Arkansas (since when have we been able to beat Central Arkansas?) in that mid-week game, then went on to sweep UK over the weekend.

So Oral Roberts is our version of last year's Central Arkansas.

Of course, losing to Central Arkansas last year late in the season didn't mean anything, since our season was already ruined by too many bad losses.

But this Oral Roberts thing is different.

But to answer your question....yes. It's very ignorant scheduling.
