Interesting to see what happens with him. My guess is that had he not gotten hot during the regular SEC season and won that crown, his seat would be scalding hot. UF will fire you for postseason ineptitude. Ask Pat McMahon...

Why would recruits sign there? No fan support, not really a baseball school compared to FSU. Remember, reporters were shocked McMahon left starkville, he went there to be closer to his parents.

Yes ... but just for clarity, two of those lose six losses came at the 2012 CWS. They did go 2 and out in the 2013 regionals.

National Championship series vs South Carolina. Still doesn't change that their coach is a dick and we'll be sure to point out their failures. Florida went 2 and BBQ at home as the #1 and a top 8 National Seed. That deserves some seat warming.

Foley expects championships. Or at lest competing for them.

He recognizes the resources and advantages UF has. He would just as soon fire a coach as change shoes.

I love the way Foley runs his ship.

To be close to home. They should be able to field a NC caliber baseball team there.

And by leaving Starkville to be closer to his parents, you mean got tired of hearing about what Ron Polk would have done.
