These guys are a good club, I don't care if they are in the SEC or not. Their infield is every bit as good as the best of the SEC. Third Baseman and SS have made highlight reel plays all day.

We have to limit damage early on, pitch it well and keep them off-balance... and fight through ABs. If we can stay within 3-4 runs going into the 6th or so, we'll be in it.

But don't fool yourself... this is a good club.

It's an extremely safe bet that we can't win scoring that few. I'm just saying these guys are going to hit the ball and they are going to be very solid defensively in the field. They are every bit as good as Kentucky, if not better (Kentucky's pitching is not that good... and don't discount that we threw Ross against UK in the Tourney and lost).

How were we supposed to know that Mitchell had arm soreness and because of said arm soreness he was going to groove pitches down the middle of the plate. They hit us pretty hard last night but it was obvious after the first inning that Mitchell didn't have his stuff and was throwing glorified batting practice to them. Add in some goofs in the field and you get your 14 runs. Hey, if they can do that to Lindgren and Holder tonight when they are on, they deserve to win the regional but until then I say we beat them 5-3 tonight. We aren't an over powering team but we can score some runs when needed. If they start a lefty we will beat them 8-3.

Bull shit. The reason the post got so out of control is he was already conceding we would be down 3-4 runs. Then when someone questioned his initial post he railed msstate7 and it went down hill from there.
