Oregon, a top 10 program over the last 5-10 years? I must have missed all those CWS appearances they have had.

Do Oregon fans want people to confuse them with Oregon State?

Rice is the group of death. You can make an argument that Rice is the third best team in that regional.

To be fair, any Regional with Jackson State (269) was likely to be the worst, or at best second worst behind the one with Youngstown State (270).

We are a relatively weak 2 seed, at least in terms of RPI (30), but San Diego State is a relatively strong 3 (36), and Louisiana-Lafayette is a strong 1 (5).

Read on Nafoom earlier that the bears think they have the toughest 2-4 seeds in the entire tournament. Already have the excuse ready made.

Jacksonville State isn't the 4 I would have liked if I were hosting. They have a pitcher that can be a pest.

Washington would have gotten very little argument if they would have hosted and Georgia Tech isn't a bad team for a 3.

I hate Ole Miss as much as anyone, but they aren't playing on this being a tough draw.

ULL Regional is weakest because of JSU.

If you throw out all the #4's, it's fairly close to the middle of the pack in difficulty.

Exactly Shotgun. I don't think Oregon had a baseball team ten years ago LOL
