We are in fifth at the NCAA Championships headed into the final round. We are grouped with UCLA and Arizona State.

We are 11 off the lead, Duke seems to be running away with it. Unless they just choke, they are winning this tournament. But we have a great shot at a top five finish and should finish as the top SEC team.

National Rankings of the teams ahead of us: 3,1,7 and 2. We are #27 so we are playing with house money even being in the final 24.

Jessica and Ji both had bad days at +5 that we had to count due to Marys +10

Ally just finished with a 3 under which puts her at -1 for the tournament. Currently tied in 4th place overall
MSU finished at +37 and sits in 7th place overall, with 6 teams still out.

We averaged a 285 on the last three rounds. Shot a 302 in the first round. If we would have shot a 285 in the first round, we would have finished third. Looks like we are going to finish 7th, possibly 6th if Arizona mails it in. McDonald finished 4th.

Arizona has two more players on the 18th. One bogey and we tie for sixth. Two bogeys and we are sixth by ourselves. Impressive showing.

6th place finish for the Lady Dawgs. Ally finishes 4th. Pretty awesome for our little cow college.

Ally will be back for an encore senior season, Jessica Peng broke all of Ally's freshmen records and will only be getting better. Tse and Baik were mainstays of the team scoring and Coach Lemm-Brown has several outstanding signees coming in both International and domestic. And to think that the team's mantra and goals only four years ago was not to finish last in any competition they played in. Simply awesome!

The 5 who competed at nationals are 1 senior, 2 juniors, and 2 freshmen, so there's a good chance we'll be back next year. Maybe we can find a super recruit and seriously compete for the title next year...
