Best place to Golf on the MS coast/ Baton Rouge area?

I'm gonna be down in Baton Rouge for a concert on Friday to see George Strait and want to get a round of golf in on Saturday before I head back. Anyone have any recommendations?

Try Santa Maria in Baton Rouge or Pelican Point near Gonzales.

I don't know that I'd travel to the MS Coast from Baton Rouge for golf. As good as the golf is on the coast with all the casino courses, I've got to think there is a good enough course around Baton Rouge to where the 2.5 hour drive isn't worth making. But depending on where you're heading back to, there is a good course I've played in Slidell that I cannot remember the name of. If you come into MS on I-10, the Bridges is in Bay St. Louis and is a fun, but different course. Don't go there is you have trouble hitting the ball straight. Then coming back up 49 will take you close to the Grand Bear, which is a good course.

the closest ms course id think to BR would be the one at the hollywood in bay st louis. nice course. cant remember the name, maybe the bridges. but if you really want to play the best MS coast golf course, go do fallen oak
