And if so, why can they sell it at the SEC football ch'ip?

I'm guessing because it's owned by the city of Hoover. I know they sold beer at Smith Wills which was owned by the city of Jackson. Some of you guys may have some more info on this.

Apparently it's the SEC rule. Regarding football, you can only buy it in the club level or mezzanine per some net research (whatever a mezzanine is). Probably have some type of 'resort' distinction in that area.

Yes. The elite play by a different set of rules. Even at a baseball game.
