Auburn is undisputed 1957 and 2010 champions and have always claimed that.

Now they are officially claiming five national championships - 1913, 1983 and 1993.

Here's an article by our friend Barrett written in January about the possibility. Now its official

Hey why not?!? We need to erect national championship banners for '40 and '41 when the new expansion opens this year. As a matter of fact our 1941 banner should say something along the lines of 'EXTRA national champions' since we won the SEC AND had a better record and BEAT 1941 national championship claiming Alabama.

Claiming questionable NT's are part of douchebaggery. Little surprise at the two SEC schools that do it.
