This is a good idea and one that we should consider implementing. However, I still contend that our biggest problem is confidence and having kickers with intestinal fortitude, but our kicking is so poor, that his couldn't hurt

Well at least it would end the junk that Mullen spews about such and such made 29 out of 30 FGs this week in practice.

I'm not concerned about distance nearly as much as I am with accuracy.

We'd be about 25 percent on extra points on those goalposts. I'm not sure anyone we have could make a kick over 20 through them, even in practice.

It's a confidence factor. Unfortunately, the negative belief of the fans can't help but contribute to this. The smaller practice target is a common device in many sports. It always comes down to making the play.
