It's not just that he is a quality human being that has had a tough year
It's not that he is simply a good player
It's not that he is an outstanding leader

But all the publicity he has been getting this offseason is doing wonders for us on the recruiting trail at the QB position. Dakota's legacy wont just be what he does on the field for Miss State- but also that he made the QB position at Miss State an attractive one finally. After being the black hole for QB's for as long as I've been a fan- we now have some serious interest from some seriously talented players. Mullen gets credit, Johnson gets credit- but Dakota Prescott deserves more than both. He has elevated the position at Miss State.

Amazing to think that when Mullen took over we had a 5'9" walk-on as our starting QB, and now we have a QB that people mention in the same sentence a Heisman.

I sure am glad those days are gone. We all knew it was bad...but now it shows just how bad it was.

If Dak can live up to the hype he will be remembered for a LONG time in the junction. I can't wait for this season. The potential has me pumped up!

Yes, his influence, natural nice guy swag, and charisma is invaluable on the recruiting trail.

But don't sleep on Mullen's choice to replace Melvin Smith with Deshea and Koenig with Johnson. That's huge because most of these kids can relate to these guys and want to follow in their footsteps.

Ha I'm not bashing fur boy really. I'm bashing our recruiting of fur boy.. Just look at that scout picture good lord.
