Two.

Bit off topic but damn I respect anyone who can switch hit as good as pirtle. When I try to hit righty (I'm a lefty) I look like I have a few screws loose. Those guys like chipper who can do both amaze me

Myles gentry in. Three pitchers, three different looks. That's why our pen is talked about so much. Good to get lindgren out to rest him with only 16 pitches I think they said.

That gives lindgren 16 innings pitched w no runs earned.

We need Gemtry to be different than he has and be effective. He needs to eat these 3 innings here.

How has the thread been without Cartman?

Yep, it amazes me sometimes. I can hit lefty (I'm a righty) and my mechanics are fine BUT I don't have 25% of the power I do at righty. Guys that can truly go both ways with their bat are really something.
Not sure if that last statement sounds right***

Fitts threw well first time thru order. We have singled them to death with our srs leading the way. Lindy was Lindy. Only threw 16 pitches.
Very discussion oriented with no dickhead moments. One of the best of the yr.

Fitts had a perfect game through three innings. Then he scuffled a little bit and Pirtle made a couple of errors. We brought in Lindgren and he got us out of a jam and threw a perfect sixth. In the meantime, we have ripped their pitching.
I think the thread has been a lot better without Cartman. IMO. I could do without the "see that's why you don't bunt there, Cohen is selfish, we win in spite of our coaching, DON'T BUNT" garbage all thread long.

We have finally started getting hits with 2 outs. All singles of course.
Detz has a ton of RBI's.
Lindgren relieved Fitts as usual, did work. Fitts starts off good then gets hit as usual.

Our defense looking a little rusty with the lead but with a 9-2 lead going to the 8th there really isn't much if anything to complain about. Let's hope we can keep up this offense through the weekend series. I'd be happy with 2 of 3 but a sweep would be epic!
