We are in the Miami Regional with Columbia and New Mexico. This Regional is paired up with the Vandy regional (with Miami being the National Seed). Vandy's regional has Arizona State, UNC, and William & Mary College.

Wow, LSU the 2 seed in Lafayette, and Louisville the 2 in Oxford?

Miami resume: 38-14 overall, 22 SOS, 9-8 vs. top 50, 24-4 vs. top 100, 2 200+ losses

MSU resume: 33-19 overall, 29 SOS, 11-11 vs. top 50, 17-6 vs. top 100, 2 200+ losses

They are 10th, we are 41. They should be higher, sure, but 31 spots? They are no better against top competition than we are and we both have an equal amount of really bad losses.

Point being if they are in the hosting discussion we should be too. I know we aren't, but we should be if we were to take 2 of 3 from Bama....but we won't be.

LSU will be connected to the ULL regional in some way shape or form in all likelihood. That's why if we go to ULL and make it out of that regional, we will probably have to play LSU in a SR in Baton Rouge.

They also have Clemson as the 3 in Oxford.

Eh, they have a tougher schedule and still have a better record by 5 games...and they have played 5 more games against the top 100 with 2 fewer losses. That is a clearly better resume. I agree that it may not justify 31 spots, but it's clearly better.
