Has anybody been on the redesigned Scout site?

Maybe I'm just used to the old one but I can't stand their new layout. I may get used to it in time but as of right now I'd rather take a hot poker in the eye than try to navigate their site.

Yep, this is just another stupid decision by Scout that will allow 247 to up its domination.

I'm sure they will work some of the bugs out. But take a look at it on your phone. They've designed it around the mobile platform, which is smart. I almost primarily check 247 on my phone. It looks and works a lot better on the phone.

It's still Gene's Page which is the real problem!

That site is a classic case of a site done by a design agency and not a team of usability or user experience experts. It looks pretty, but nothing is anywhere it might be useful, easy to find or read. Pretty awful.

It just lines up with the string of terrible technology decisions that company has made along the way. Remember this Adobe CQ implementation they have been trying to put in has taken over 2 years. Just bad, bad, bad.

They are following Elitedawgs lead of having a Outdoor Dawgs forum and BS Forum.

Honestly, everyone is going to the Wordpress style site. 247 has just kept their site more about the forums and hasn't ventured to the Wordpress side (which is why they keep their users). Scout is just trying to attract a different audience, which is the wrong audience for what they are selling as a site. They'll figure it out, or they will lose a ton of subscribers.
