You know you've been a State fan for too long when your first thought about all this is "Please don't let this be like 2001 again."

Dak has the tools and skills to take us a long way this fall. IF our receivers step up (for once). IF our O-line doesn't suck. IF IF IF.

Sigh.

Yep. I've been a State fan for way too long.

I've been a state fan for life, remembering games from early childhood, but I am fully confident that Dak and this team will not disappoint this season. For the first time, possibly ever in MSU football history, we have the personnel and depth on both sides of the ball to stop any offense we play and put points up against any defense we play. The only "wildcard" area of this team is putting the pigskin between the uprights.

AND OUR OL! OH YEAH, don't forget staying healthy is a must.

Okay heres your buzz kill. Yes he looked good but it was against a bad aTm defense, TSUN and and Rice.
He has to make those passes and more against lock down corners while running for his life at times against Auburn, LSU and Bama.

Honestly I'm still like this though... just trying to temper the wool in the eyes over the long summer.
