Jonathan Papelbon is at 297 saves. 3 more to go to reach a very exclusive 300 career saves club. He's having a good year for the Phillies too. 1.76 ERA with 11 saves.
Tyler Moore just got called up with Adam LaRoche going to the DL and hit a HR in his first AB. This is a big 3 weeks for Moore. He's only had 37 AB with the Nationals this year with 3 HR and hitting .189.
Paul Maholm is a RP for the Dodgers. He's 1-3 with a 4.71 ERA, 14 ks in 36 IP and a 1.51 WHIP so he's getting hit too much right now. He's 31 years old.
Mitch Moreland is seeing regular playing time with the Texas Rangers. Power hasn't shown up yet this year with only 1 HR but he's hitting .302 with 13 RBI and 11 R in 86 ABs.
Hunter Renfroe is having a good year at high A Lake Elsinore (Padres) with a .335 OBP, 7 HR, 20 R, 27 RBI and .259 BAVG in 147 ABs. Probably get promoted soon.
Adam Frazier is off to a slow start for high A Bradenton (Pirates) hitting .229 with 11 RBI and 11 R but hit .321 last year.
Kendall Graveman was dominating in A ball this year and has been promoted to high A already. He flirted with a no-hitter going 8 1/3 of no hit ball. In A ball he had a .64 ERA with 25 ks in 26 IP. Chad Girodo is filthy this year with the same team Graveman is on A+ Dunedin (Blue Jays). I might order a hat of theirs with 2 Bulldawgs on the pitching staff. Girodo has a 0.00 ERA in 15 IP with 12 Ks and 1 SV. The Blue Jays are struggling in the bullpen at the majors so Girodo might be getting promoted to AA or AAA very soon.
Evan Mitchell is struggling for A Dayton (Reds) as a RP. Maybe he should be a SP. 5.93 ERA with 9 ks in 13 IP.
Daryl Norris seems to be out of baseball currently. He posted good numbers for the Tigers rookie league team last year but I can't find anything for this year.
Same thing for Luis Pollorena. 2.15 ERA in 25 IP in 2013 for the Rangers rookie team. Nothing for 2014.
Chris Stratton is 2-4 with a 5.34 ERA for the Giants A+ team but he does have 33 ks in 34 IP.
Nick Routt hasn't pitched this year for the Reds.
Devin Jones is 4-2 with a 6.62 ERA for the AA Padres.
Nick Vickerson is raking for A Rangers. Hitting .305 with a .445 OBP, 15 R, 15 RBI, 2 HR, 8 SB in 95 ABs. Sounds like a promotion is on the horizon.
