Cole Whitman- 2016 baseball recruit

I heard from a friend that Cole Whitman visited State this weekend with his Pelham teammate Hunter Stovall (who is a 2015 commit). This guy could be a stud. He's a 6'3" lefty who's already consistently in the mid 80s, topping out at 88- and he's only a sophomore in high school. I'd love to get him, and with his teammate already committed, you'd have to think we've got a decent shot.

I know that we have been looking at him for awhile. Gene mentioned him about a year or so ago, and it sounded like he was leaning to MSU. He's grown a lot since last year- I think he was more like 6'0" at the time that Gene interviewed him.
