New Baseball Commit Kale Breaux

Just saw that we apparently stole him from LSU. The only thing I have really seen on him is that he struck out 19 and only walked 1 last night. Also, someone said he had touched 96 on the gun and is a lefty. Anyone know anything more on him?

Matt Stevens said that he threw 96 on twitter but then Kale Breaux himself corrected him and told him that he had hit 89 on occasion. Stevens was looking at his PG profile which said that the highest at the event was 96- but that wasn't Breaux who threw 96.

There is some video of him, but they are LONG- like 30-40 minutes- of him pitching.

We definitely could use an outfielder. Cody Brown is the only OF returnee that I feel pretty good about.

Gene just interviewed him, doesn't say why he decommitted from LSU. But he loves us now and that's all that matters.

If Wes Rea comes back, I expect us to move Humphreys to RF.

Will he quit the team, cause no way he gets drafted. Not with his hitting this year. Wes needs to remember that ball players are made in the off season.

The rumor is that Rea will be back next year. He's only a junior.

Part of his problem is he gets banged up and he can't go off to play summer baseball.
