That was awesome! The crowd went nuts... of course they were cheering for the troops, but it still sounded cool

I was fist pumping when they picked him. I hate he's playing for Oakland, but I'm really glad for him, and Oakland got a good player for good value..

As I said in the other thread, I really like the way the Raiders are building so far. They've had a helluva draft so far. And that can't help but improve now that Crazy Al is dead and can't make retarded ass picks like Duhmarcus Russell. Plus, Gabe will provide some nice protection for Derek Carr.

Getting Gabe in the third round is an absolute steal. I think he could be a 10 year mainstay for Oakland on the interior.

Glad you made it QB(S!!!!!).

The bad teams are known for having good linemen. Hope he goes there, impresses the league and it's GM's, and gets a FA tender to go somewhere else. I was excited he got drafted and I'm happy for him but the Raiders are one of a couple organizations I never want to see one of "our guys" go to.

Completely agree. I think they'll be very competitive very soon. Talent itself was never the Raiders problem. It was talent in the right places, team building, and Crazy Al. And now that Crazy Al isn't in charge and constantly suing the league, the Raiders should be competing on a level playing field and seem to be building a solid core. The new management seems to know what they're doing, which is a lot more than you could say for Al the last 10 years.

I'm a big fan of Moncrief. The "feed" thing is the most retarded shit I've ever heard though. The fact that a receiver from Vandy went before him made me really happy... But Moncrief is good. Real good.
