Certainly would appear that way, wouldn't it? I was surprised when NE took Garroppolo, but then I immediately thought of the rumors of a Pats-Texans deal for Mallet. I'd be ok with that, although I still want them to take Mettenberger, Murray, or Boyd later. Murray is the one I want most of that trio. I think he's been vastly underrated and is going to be a ginormous steal.

Gabe is dropping like a rock. Can't believe no one has taken him yet. Looking ahead, and barring someone trading up for him in the next few picks, if the Rams don't take him right here, I don't see him with a chance to go again until the Bears at 18 (82). The Bears would be a helluva good fit for him, though.
