The Landscape Architecture masters program recently took 2nd place in an EPA sponsored competition. They redesigned the space in front of the bakery and union. Pretty badass and would tie that whole area together, for sure. Maybe it'll happen... MSU is taking large leaps. With all the watershed mitigation practices, this could

I guess the rest of the Old Main project is dead? Was looking forward to the Bell Island part and the arches, none of which have ever been finished.

The space between McCool and the Union will be completed at some point. The University had some plans drawn up by students in the Design II and Design IV classes in the landscape architecture department. Things that the university stated that they wanted for the space was seating, a water feature, and use of arches. It's my understanding that this was to get some ideas that they could present in an effort to get more funds.

As far as that video, it was part of a contest in which MSU came in 2nd place nationally
