If I was Golson and I were still on the fence, I would have packed up and left the moment I saw this.

Freeze is a much better coach than we give him credit for, but if he doesn't learn how to suppress his emotions and operate with some professionalism in public, he's not going to last very long.

I'm not surprised at anything that creep will say towards anyone. After all, he's in it for the "love." He's such a hypocrite, especially when it comes to all his religious shouting from the mountain top. He runs one of the dirtiest programs in NCAA football and knows it when he has to employ lawyers to keep emails hidden from the public that he requested people send him. I don't remember Mullen taking pot shots at the guy that was homesick and went to a JUCO closer to home. I remember some complaints about the coaches getting in the kids ear, but never anything criticizing the kid.

Freeze does seem like an idiot sometimes. I think he's a pretty decent coach and may turn out to be a good coach, but what Div. I coach gets in twitter spats, or says things over twitter that look like a pot shot at a player that's unhappy playing for him. I can understand getting lost in the moment the time he argued with a fan in the stands or coaches losing their composure in a press conference, but it's 17ing twitter. You don't have to post anything. If you're not mature enough to refrain from acting like you're in junior high, give your twitter account to an assistant you trust and send everything you want to tweet to him. Then the assistant could censor the stuff that sounds like it might have come from a junior high girl.

Wow. Trying to publicly shame the guy into regretting his decision to leave. There was this little tidbit from an AL.com article:

Golson said Freeze has been very understanding of the situation.

"He told me, 'Do what's best for you.' He understands it doesn't have anything to do with football."

Is Freeze talking from both sides of his mouth, perhaps pretending to be understanding, but really just trying to manipulate the kid?

Freeze and his tweeting is a mockery for the entire state of Mississippi. I am glad Mullen keeps everything in house and makes the media fight for a story. Freeze creates these situations.... the Gholson transferring situation could easily have been dealt with differently. But that's the OM way.... make everything an exploitation.
